Slade Morission was born in Lorain, Ohio. He died December 22, 2010.
He lived most of his life in New York, attending the United Nation’s School
and SUNY Purchase where he studied art.
Along with his dedicated work as a painter for twenty-three years,
he co-authored eight children’s books: The Who’s Got Game? series;
Little Cloud and Lady Wind, Peeny Butter Fudge, The Tortoise and the Hare, The Book of Mean People and The Big Box.
